The International School of Ministry

Life Giving Outreach Ministries has been blessed by the  Family Worship Center, Shepherdsville, Kentucky (www.familyworshipcenteronline.com), which donated to LGOM the International School of Ministry (ISOM) program published by Good Shepherd Ministries International. This is the same ministry that developed and distributed the Jesus movie. The ISOM program consists of 159 hours of biblical training via video CDs. The teachers include Jack Hayford, T. L. Osborn, Reinhard Bonnke, Joyce Meyer, Larry Stockstill, Ed Cole, Brian Houston, A. R. Bernard and Dick Eastman, to name a few.

In Mexico, the opportunity to attend seminary is not available to many. Most pastors, especially in the rural areas, are self-taught with little formal education beyond the 6th grade. Having an in-depth biblical training course available to them is nothing short of a miracle.

The ISOM program is designed to bring foundational biblical training to these pastors in a way that is easily understood in their native language. It also includes written notes, group discussion ideas, homework assignments, and exams. When a student has completed the entire program, he or she will receive a diploma from the International School of Ministry and will be eligible for an associate degree from Vision International University. For more information about this program, please go to www.isom.org

LGOM currently holds an unlimited license to plant schools in Mexico wherever facilitators can be found. Our initial ISOM school is in its fourth of five trimesters in Tampacan, San Luis Potosi, at the Templo Eben-nezer.  Pastor Marcelo Hernandez is the facilitator.  A second school will begin in January 2006 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, with plans for a third school in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, in the near future.  The start up cost for each school is currently $250 for the equipment and VCD copies. The students pay a tuition that covers their books and supplies. Sponsors are currently needed to underwrite the cost of the new schools planned in Reynosa and Matehuala.
