Mission Opportunities

Text Box:                                                       Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."    NIV

Text Box: It is our belief that EVERY Christian should, if at all possible, visit the mission field at least once in their lifetime.  There is a change that comes upon us when we go and see for our selves what God is doing in other parts of the world.  When we see how God can and will use us, when we allow Him to stretch us and move us out of our comfort zones, ourlives can't help but change.

We also believe that Pastors will be blessed by visiting the mission field as often as they can.  A missionary friend of ours, Don Cooper, shared with us that he wanted to make a mission trip to India.  We asked him why, because at the time he made this statement he was a missionary to Peru.  His reply to us was that "he wanted to go to India so that he could keep his vision fresh for the work in Peru."  What Don spoke is true of all of us in ministry.  We NEED to go and see what God is doing elsewhere in order to keep alive our vision and calling where we are.
Part of God's calling for LGOM is to make the mission field accessible to any Christian who wants to go and see, experience and grow in their own calling.   If you, too have this desire and would like to go with us whether it be for "Short Term", "Long Term" or "Permanent" mission work then click on one of the links below and "LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN".
